I did not realize what my best bluray could look with this set. The color, depth and clarity of this set is unreal. The susbstantially brighter and clearer than my Sony. You should see these words in acion learn to appreciate. Technical data means nothing if Picure not perfect. Know bluray demo kiosks at Best Buy? My Picure similar, but better. I am a distant relative of the degree of improvement for my Sony blown. Makes my investment in the PS3 is all the more worthwhile.This is a statement of principle, but these days most of the TV offers a rather good (above) with HD sources. Heck, my Sony TV looks good (even if the switch in the room). However, this is the Samsung 650 A few notches above the others.Conclusion: The image quality rivals / exceeds Sony XBR, but as a Tier 2 Brand (Philips, Toshiba, Sharp) prices. Buy now! No Regrets!
